Reflection of House on Lake

  1. This is a wonderful image, Bob. Your new blog title, together with the photograph, reminds me of this quote, which I like very much.

“He looked at his own Soul with a Telescope. What seemed all irregular, he saw and shewed to be beautiful Constellations; and he added to the Consciousness hidden worlds within worlds.” - Coleridge

  2. Thank you, Jen. I like the Coleridge quote. Apparently, it comes from one of his notebooks. I don't know who he was referring to, though.

The picture is one of my favorites. The color intensities are enhanced, but essentially this is the reflection I saw through the lens. Cropping the house out left me with something that reminded me of an Impressionist painting of some kind. I like the effect.

Thank you for viewing and commenting.
